We have compiled some of our most frequently asked questions here.


What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 24 hour advanced notice when cancelling an appointment.  This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.  If you do not provide a 24 hour notice you will be charged for the session in full.


No-Shows

For any reason that some one forgets or consciously chooses to not attend their appointment will be considered a no-show.  You will be charged for your missed appointment and this will include additional fees depending on the nature of the appointment.  This amount will be billed to you and must be paid prior to your next appointment.  If you have pre-payed for you next session this amount will be deducted as if the session had occurred and your next session will be required to be pre-payed prior to booking.


Do you do crisis sessions?

We do offer crisis sessions, however if it is a life or death emergency we will insist that you contact 911 or go to the emergency room as they will be better able to assist you with your needs in those circumstances.


Do you do home sessions?

We are currently not offering in home sessions.  We do however offer telehealth services.  These services are offered within Missouri only at this time.


What areas do you cover?

We are currently covering the greater St. Louis area, as well as areas in the Southeast of Missouri.  Please call for specifics.  We are offering Telehealth options covering the state of Missouri.


How much are sessions?

Current rate for a 45 minute session is $130 dollars.

Crisis Session is $200 dollars.

We do charge a fee for travel, this will vary given the distance and location of our counselors.  Please call for more detailed information.

We also do charge a pro-rated fee for services.  If for any reason your session should continue beyond ten minutes, you will be charged for those ten minutes and any additional time that is taken beyond those ten minutes.  This pro-rated fee will also account for any paperwork we are asked to complete, this includes phones calls, and emails.  For more specifics feel free to contact us with any questions.


Can we send you an email for quick help?

We do allow for you send emails to process things, we suggest that the email be of something that is not very emergent that needs to be addressed immediately given that emails may take up to two days to process.  We try to get to them as soon as possible but given scheduling and other sessions there may be some delay.  There is a fee for this, we charge $35 dollars per email.  Please call for further details.

It also should be noted that given we are sending you a response to your email we cannot guarantee confidentiality.  Given that we are not aware of what security parameters you have in place, who has access to your email, if you left your email open, if you are using a work email, or simply your email security has been compromised.

We do have an online system in place that can handle email, video, and chat based counseling.  You will have to create an account to utilize these services.  We can assist you with the process if you should require it.


Do you take insurance?

We do take insurance.  We are in network with several insurance companies at this time.  The insurance companies we are in network with are as follows: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Tricare, Compsych, New Directions, United Healthcare, Cigna, and Meritain.


What are lifestyle/life balance services?

If you are wanting support or an unbiased person to listen to a struggle you are currently having we are there for you.  These services are for people who are struggling with motivation, self esteem, or needing career guidance.  These services fall in line for people who do not need a diagnosis and will not be handled in that manner.  These services work well for people struggling with direction in life or just feel like they are lost.  In these sessions we will be looking a lot into who you are, what you want in life, and focus on direction.


Confidentiality

We maintain your confidentiality but given certain circumstances will be forced to release information.  These situations are and not limited to the following threats of self harm, threats of suicide, threats to others, child abuse, elder abuse, abuse of any kind, and circumstances surrounding ability to obtain payment.
